In this day you will be picked from your accommodation either in Arusha or Moshi and start your safari by exploring the open wilderness with the highest concentration of elephants in northern Tanzania. Mammals like lion, zebras, warthogs, wildebeest, and buffalo can be spotted here. In dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and bird life congregate on the Tarangire River which is a permanent source of water.

Depart after breakfast to Lake Manyara National Park, the famous for its tree climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore. It is only 205sq miles in size, this park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees which are a home to troops of baboons and blue monkey. The shallow alkaline lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is a home to thousands of flamingos during the rain seasons. Other animals can be seen here including giraffes, elephants, impalas and the hippos.

After morning breakfast, you will continue with your game in Ngorongoro crater. Being there you will descend into the famous Ngorongoro crater to view some of the rarely seen wildlife including black rhino. It’s sense population of predators which include lion, hyena, jackals, cheetahs and leopards. Large flamingos, water birds and hippos are found in Lake Magadi, an alkaline lake in the south western corner
