Tour Description:

These safari takes from Nairobi to travel north through the lush green farming communities of Kenya, the landscape drops away to the west into the great rift valley. The views and bird watching around Mount Kenya are a sight to behold not forgetting the spectacular lakes and the “big five” in Masai Mara the 7^th wonder of the world wildebeest migration.

Safari Itinerary:

Day 01: Nairobi

You will be met at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport and transferred to your hotel for check in and overnight.

On this day, you have an option of going for an excursion depending on the time of arrive.

Overnight at Emara Ole Sereni hotel on a bed and breakfast

Day 02: Nairobi / Aberdare national park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and drive north into the forests of the Aberdare Mountain range arriving at Outspan for lunch and then afternoon transfer to the Treetops lodge which is set in a forest glade with a waterhole that is floodlit and attracts all sorts of wildlife during the day and night. Wildlife can be viewed from underground.

Drive time approximately 4.5 hours.

Overnight at Treetops Lodge

Day 03: Aberdare national park / Lake Nakuru National Park

Today you will start early after breakfast and drive north west towards Nyahururu town, proceed south to Lake Nakuru national park, you will be able to view game en route to your lodge accommodation.

After lunch and relaxation, depart for afternoon game drive in these spectacular lake park returning to the lodge in the evening.

Driving time approximately 4 hours.

Dinner and Overnight at Nakuru Sopa lodge

Day 04: Lake Nakuru National Park / Masai Mara Game Reserve

Depart from lake Nakuru after early morning breakfast, driving to Narok town via Mai-Mahiu with a brief stopover before continuing on to Masai Mara game reserve.

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp accommodation.

You will have an afternoon game drive and return back to the Mara Sopa lodge in the evening. Driving time is approximately 5.5 hours.

Dinner and overnight at the luxury Lodge or Luxury tented camp

Day 05: Masai Mara Game Reserve full day

Unlimited early morning and afternoon game drives in the famous game park.

On this day you also have (optional) opportunity to visit the ‘’Masai village’’, go for nature walk, visit and support local community schools or go for a 1hour Balloon safari with champagne bubbly bush breakfast. (Extra costs)

Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Luxury tented camp

Day 06: Masai Mara Game Reserve / Nairobi city

Depart the Masai Mara after breakfast and head to Narok town. From here we cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle, before heading up the rift escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners during World War II. You will arrive back in Nairobi city in the afternoon.

We will drop you off at your hotel / residence or at the airport for your onward travel arrangements.

Drive time approximately 6 hours.
