ITINERARY:

DAY 1: ARRIVE CAPETOWN

Welcome to Cape Town! You will be meet by one of our representatives at the Airport holding a Maggie Holidays. Our transfer vehicles will be labeled with our logos for easier identification. You will be transferred to the hotel for check inn and room allocation. Lunch will be at the hotel at your own cost. Spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sceneries of cape town.

DAY TWO: HORSE RIDING WITH WINE TOUR STELLENBOSCH, PEARL AND FRANSCHOEK

Pick up at the hotel at 9:00 am and proceed to the wine lands. Start your day with an adventure by horseback in the Stellenbosch valley. There are a bunch of great trail rides that will highlight the natural and breathtaking beauty of the Winelands. Ride through scenic vineyards and orchards, stopping along the way for wine tasting.

Stellenbosch is in the heart of the premier wine-growing region of South Africa and boasts many international award-winning wines. Indulge yourself in different varieties of wines and cheese. The tour will proceed to the quaint Franshoek, where you will enjoy the visually pleasing French architecture.

Nearing the end of we will return to Stellenbosch where they will enjoy a hot beverage at Café Stark Conde Wine Farm at your own cost.

DAY 3: PENISULA ROAD TOUR

After Breakfast Head for the peninsula road tour. Start your day experiencing the best sites along the Atlatic Ocean and end it with a sunset view.

The Cape Peninsula day tour starts with a tour of Cape Town City Bowl and continues past the V&A Waterfront to the main suburbs of the Atlantic Seaboard. This includes Green Point, Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay. We travel past the Blue Flag beaches along a gorgeous scenic route with the glistening Atlantic Ocean on your right and the towering Twelve Apostle mountains on your left.

Hout Bay, Noordhoek and Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve

We make our way to the fishing village of Hout Bay, over the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive and into the quaint coastal town of Noordhoek. The scenic peninsula drive takes us to the magnificent Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point.

In Hout Bay, you have the option of taking a boat cruise to Seal Island (not included in the rate) or strolling around the popular mariner wharf and harbour where you’ll make friends with the friendly seals that pop up for a pat.

At the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, we visit the famous Cape Point Lighthouse. You have the option of a short but slightly steep walk on a well-worn path to the lighthouse or you can take the funicular railway to the top. The view is spectacular and you may see whales and dolphins in the bay.

Simons Town and Boulders Beach penguin colony

We end the morning in Simons Town which is a legendary naval town overlooking False Bay. You have the option of visiting the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee excluded in the rate) or spending time strolling down the historic main street of Simons Town and popping into its quaint shops and museums.

We have a bite to eat and drinks (for your own account) at the Simons Town Mariner Wharf.

Kalk Bay, St James and Muizenberg

After lunch, we head back towards Cape Town and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens travelling along the False Bay coastal route. We pass through the seaside to

DAY 4: CITY TOUR WITH TABLE MOUNTAIN

After Breakfast, we will leave at 9:00 am and head to the Table Mountain. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Cape Town from the top of Table Mountain.

After a quick ride up the cable car is all you need to experience the famous landmark of Table Mountain. If the weather is favorable, you will have 360-degree views of the “Mother City” which are breathtaking from this vantage point. What makes Table Mountain so unique is that it forms an innate amphitheater around the City which is rare. If the weather is not favorable, don’t despair, the tour will take you up to the top of Signal Hill which also has spectacular views.

We then proceed for a city tour and you will be able to learn more about the Cape Town CBD and its surrounds, in a city tour that is sure to leave you with plenty of memories and photographs of this part of Cape Town.

We shall Have lunch at Biesmiellah. Run by two generations of the Osman family in the historic Malay quarter of Bo-Kaap, Biesmiellah has been serving the local Cape Muslim community and, increasingly, tourists for 40 years. Enjoy different quinines of food.

DAY 5: LEISURE WITH OPTIMAL ACTIVITIES AT EXTRA COST

ATLANTIS

45 Minutes outside of Cape Town you will find the spectacular Atlantis Dunes. With views like this, you can see why it become the hotspot for filmmakers, photographers and adventure enthusiasts. Enjoy activities like sand bashing and quad bike riding.

ROBIN ISLAND 

Robben Island, the unique symbol of “the triumph of the human spirit over adversity, suffering and injustice” with a rich 500 year old multi-layered history, is visited every year by thousands of people eager to understand and honour the important aspects of South Africa’s history that the Island represents.

Robben Island Museum is a public entity responsible for managing, maintaining, presenting, developing and marketing Robben Island as a national estate and World Heritage Site. It was established by the Department of Arts and Culture in 1997.

GLOD DRUMMING RESTURANT

The heartbeat and rhythm of Africa is synonymous with tribal drums. The Bamana people in Mali believe the djembe drum (pronounced ‘jem-beh’) comes from the saying “Anke dje, anke be” which means “everyone gather together”. It is this saying that characterizes the djembe’s purpose and that of GOLD restaurant in Cape Town.

African drumming activity

The pre-dinner interactive drumming experience at our African restaurant is a natural precursor to an unforgettable dining experience. It’s incredibly popular with local and international guests of all ages. Soon, even the most rhythmically challenged are drumming away with our very own master facilitators, Binos or Ezzi.
