Tour Description:
This is a unique safari which gives you the opportunity to experience the birthing of thousands of newborn wildebeest dropped onto the vast fields of the Ndutu Area of the Serengeti national park.
The birthing season is between December – March and you will witness the baby wildebeests, gazelle, zebra and many more take their first steps, with sounds of the newborns baying and bleating an awesome unforgettable natural drama experience.

Our driver tour guide will pick you up from the Arusha airport, hotel or residence at 0800hrs.
Depart for Tarangire park after briefing and drive through the scenic Masai country with its distinct vegetation and micro climates
This Park has abundance of wildlife and thousands of elephants not leaving out the lion, leopard, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland and gazelle.
Our night will be spent at Tarangire lodge or luxury tented camp

After breakfast we will depart Tarangire and to the Ndutu Area, a 220 km drive approximately 6hrs. We will have a stop-over at the world-famous Olduvai Gorge which has an outstanding record of our ancient history, cultural development and vast fossilized human remains.
Ndutu area is ideal for viewing the cycle of the great wildebeest migration.
The calving season of thousands of newborns dropped is an unforgettable experience.

Today will have a full day of unlimited game drives on the rolling grasslands and wooded acacia forests of Ndutu.
The Ndutu Area also features resident wildlife that can be spotted at its many watering holes during the dry season all year round.
Bird watching can also be experienced in the Ndutu area.

Today we head north into the heart of the great Serengeti National Park a distance of 150km and approx. 3-hour drive. We arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive.
Serengeti National Park is home to a vast number of wildlife and its plains stretch out to the deep horizon.

And it is an entire day of unlimited game drives with a choice of picnic lunch in the wildlife bush.
Serengeti National Park is rich in ecosystem and known for the ‘’seven wonders of Africa’’ – the wildebeest, Lions, Buffalo, giraffe, elephants, zebras and over 500 species of birds.
Return to your accommodation as the sun sets.

Rise up to an early awakening African savannah sunlight for a morning game drive in the park. Return for breakfast and head out to the Ngorongoro Crater which will take approx. 3 hours, a distance of 160kms.
The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on the planet with a vast geological structure.
Descend to the crater’s steep walls in our 4 x 4 WD, coming to rest in a verdant universe of teeming wildlife. We will explore the viewing of all the big cats, Crater’s grasslands and acacia forests.
Picnic lunch will be served and after a continuation of afternoon game drive.
We will ascend back up at the rim of the crater as the sun sets.

Rise up early to catch the beautiful sunrise at the rim of the crater.
Have breakfast and drive back to Arusha as our 7 days Tanzania safari comes to an end. The drive is approximately 5hrs a distance of 260kms
