Safari Itinerary: 

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu (320km – Approx. 6 hrs) 

0730hrs: You shall be picked up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or Nairobi airport 

Depart after safari briefing to Samburu game reserve 

Proceed on a scenic drive via the central highlands of Kenya with a stop at a large local market and the Equator.  

Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in this semi -arid wildlife reserve. 

Overnight at either Sarova Shaba game lodge 5* / Samburu Sopa 4* /Elephant Bedroom

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner

Elephants, Zebra, Buffalo, Warthogs, Antelopes, Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Somali ostrich etc 

Day 2:  Samburu full day 

Spend entire day at the Samburu game reserve with extended game viewing drives to Shaba and buffalo springs reserves. 

More game in this scenic and arid reserve is concentrated along the banks of the Ewaso nyiro river. 

Elephants, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Cheetah, Buffalo, Oryx and other animal species may be seen.

Meals and overnight at either Sarova Shaba game lodge 5* / Samburu Sopa 4* /Elephant Bedroom

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare National Park 

Morning Game viewing drive at the Samburu game reserve After breakfast Proceed south to the Aberdare national park Transfer to your tree hotel. 

Both tree hotels provide spectacular viewing perches for night game viewing Game is attracted by the waterholes and salt licks around the lodges. Game drives at the salient are optional (extra cost). 

Overnight at Treetops Lodge 5* or The Ark 4-3*

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

What to see at Aberdare National Park;

Bird watching, photography, Trekking, game viewing. 

Day 4: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha: (250km – Approx. 5hrs.)  

Depart the Aberdare and proceed to the Lake Nakuru national park. The scenic drive is via Thomson’s Falls where you stop to view the scenic waterfalls 

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya’s finest. Great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees dots the lake. 

But that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer because the wildlife viewing here is easy and accessible. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore. 

The Park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino. Later continue to the Lake Naivasha. 

Overnight shall be at either Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge 5* / Elsamere Lodge 3* 

 Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara (240Kms – Approx. 4-5 Hrs) 

Morning boat ride to explore this exotic freshwater Rift valley lake. 

Watch hippos and view exotic birds and small game. 

Proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island. 

Later drive to the incredible Masai Mara game reserve, home to the big five and more.

An afternoon game viewing drive in this spectacular reserve shall introduce you to its wildlife wonders 

Overnight at either Mara Serena safari lodge/ Mara Sarova 5* / Zebra plains /Basecamp 4*

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

Day 6:  Masai Mara full day 

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! 

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. 

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. 

Overnight at Mara Serena safari lodge/ Mara Sarova 5* / Zebra plains /Basecamp 4*

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

Day 7:  Masai Mara – Nairobi: (265km – Approx. 5hrs) 

A morning game viewing drive at the Mara 

Later depart for Nairobi to arrive approximately 4:30 pm.

Drop off at your Nairobi hotel, or airport

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.
