Shaba Game Reserve
Shaba game Reserve, is located in the ‘northern frontier’ and is home to mammals found only north of the equator.
The Shaba Reserve was made famous by the late Joy Adamson and her lioness Elsa and is often referred to as ‘Born Free Country
Lake Nakuru national Park
Lake Nakuru national park is famous for its abundant birdlife and is home to the white Rhino and Rothschild giraffe making it an ideal stop over as you cross the country from north to south.
Masai Mara Game Reserve
This is Kenya’s most popular park where you go to spot Africa’s “Big Five” lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant and is host to the awesome spectacle 7th wonder of the world, known as ‘’The Great Migration’’ generally occurring between July and October.
Safari Itinerary:
Day 01: Nairobi
Upon arrival into Nairobi, you will be met at the airport and transferred to Safari Park hotel.
After check in you can spend the afternoon at leisure
Overnight and Breakfast at The Safari Park Hotel or similar
Day 02: Nairobi / Shaba Game Reserve
You will be picked early in the morning after breakfast and head north through some breath taking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. Pass through Nanyuki town, continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district. Drive to Shaba, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.
Drive time approximately 5.5 hours.

Day 03: Full day at Shaba Game Reserve
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. For the remainder of the morning, one is able to relax by the pool or terrace, overlooking the river. After lunch, there will be another game drive returning to the lodge in the evening

Day 04: Shaba Reserve / Lake Nakuru
Travel south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, into the town of Nanyuki. Drive north-west towards Nyahururu, before turning in a southerly direction to your next destination, the spectacular Lake Nakuru. Once in the park, you will view game en route to the lodge. After Check in, have lunch and a relax, there will be an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 05: Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara Game Reserve
After an early morning breakfast leave the flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru behind and head for Njoro town, where you begin your ascent up over the top of the Mau Escarpment; then, heading due south, travel towards Narok, the gateway to the Maasai Mara and district headquarters of this part of Masai land. Travel across the “breadbasket” of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Mara in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive in the 7th wonder of the world park returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 06: Masai Mara
Unlimited early morning and afternoon game drives in the famous game park.
On this day you also have (optional) opportunity to visit the ‘’Masai village’’, go for nature walk, visit and support local community schools or go for a 1hour Balloon safari with champagne bubbly bush breakfast. (Extra costs)

Day 07: Masai Mara / Nairobi
Depart the Masai Mara after breakfast and head to Narok town. From here we cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle, before heading up the rift escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners during World War II. You will arrive back in Nairobi city in the afternoon.
We will drop you off at your hotel / residence or at the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
