The Nairobi city tour is a guided tour that will enable you have a memorable half day trip experience in this East African bustling city within a short period of time either as an extension to a safari tour or you are on transit or business trip.
Note- The city tour excursion can be done in any hour of day though recommended early morning from 8am or afternoon.
Highlights:
Pick up from your hotel, meeting place or from the either Jomo Kenyatta or Wilson Airport.
Proceed to the National Museum of Kenya which allows you to interact first hand with the evolution of the early man and stone Age tools. The history of the museum gallery details the origin of Kenya’s different communities and language groups, the struggle for independence among other discoveries.
Adjacent is the snake park, a zoo featuring different types of snakes, crocodiles and tortoise in glass and open-air enclosures.
Proceed for a guided walk at the parliament buildings, the Railway Museum where old steam locomotives are exhibited including the one from which Superintendent John Lyall was taken from by a man-eating lion in Tsavo in 1901.
You will also visit the city market where a wide variety of African curios and tropical fruit and flowers are on sale.
Our tour ends with a visit to the Kenyatta International Conference Centre view-point which has a revolving restaurant and gives you a high point view of the city of Nairobi.
