Tour Overview:
This is a Maggie holidays East Africa mixture of Kenyan wildlife and authentic culture guided tour in Nairobi. You will go on an extensive game drive tour in Nairobi National Park to where you will sight lions, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, rhino, hyena and many more animals with over 400 species of birds.
Thereafter, visit the Giraffe centre where you get to feed the world’s most popular animal and a taste of the ‘’giraffe kiss’’. Learn more about the different types of giraffes and their origin story.
The Karen Blixen Museum gives you a glimpse of the book and movie ‘Out of Africa’ rich history and Karen, the Danish writer’s life in Kenya.
A professional tour drive guide is at your disposal at all times. We have guides at your disposal both at the giraffe centre and Karen Blixen Museum. Visit Kazuri beads and see the process of how traditional beads are made from at the workshop
ITINERARY
Nairobi national park
Approx. 5hrs
0600hrs: Pick up from your hotel, residence or the airport
Proceed to the Nairobi National Park on an average 5-hour day tour. You shall follow the wildlife tracks of the Nairobi National Park in search of Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffe, Ostrich, Hippo, White and Black Rhino, Buffalo and other game.
We shall also visit other attractions including the Ivory burning site monument and guided walking at the hippo pool trails.
Approx. 1-2hrs
Depart the park and Stop at the giraffe centre, which was founded to save the Rothschild Giraffe which had lost its natural habitat to agriculture and human settlement.
It is a close up and learning tour that provides opportunity for personal interaction where you view giraffes with an option of feeding them.

Visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the house in the movie out of Africa. You can also Visit the kazuri beads enroute.
