After breakfast, leave your Nairobi hotel for the Nairobi National Park, which is 10 km way or 15 minutes’ drive from the city Centre. 4 of the big five except the elephant can be seen and there are a variety of antelopes. The park is home to plenty of migratory game despite its small size being only 114 km2. Hippos and a few crocodiles can be seen in the river pools plus a variety of plains game and birds. You will then proceed to the Carnivore Restaurant, which is dubbed ‘the meat eaters paradise’. Various meats including game meat are served barbecued though the restaurant also has a vegetarian menu. In the afternoon you will visit the Bomas of Kenya where you will be entertained with traditional songs and dance and an acrobatic show in the main arena prior to which you will have visited the ‘Bomas’ or homesteads where the everyday lives of the 43 different ethnic groups in Kenya are depicted. Return to the city Centre in the evening.
