We’ll pick you up from your hotel or from the airport at 8 am. Your tour will be in the comfort of a private pop-top safari minivan or 4×4 Landcruiser
Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and proceed to the National Museum of Kenya. A fascinating place to learn about Kenya’s history and culture, the National Museum aims to share Kenya’s rich cultural heritage with visitors to the city through a variety of exhibits including Kenyan art, a hall dedicated to the Kenyan War for Independence, and the prehistory of man, among others.
You’ll arrive at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust at 11am. Sometimes known as the Elephant Orphanage, you’ll have your chance to have an up close and personal interaction with these adorable orphaned elephants. Over the course of your hour long visit you’ll observe the resident baby elephants as they feed, exercise, and bathe with an option of sponsoring one of the orphans.
Visit the Giraffe Centre where you feed the friendly Rothschild Giraffe. They accept a kiss as they pick their food from your palms! Stop over at some shopping areas enroute.
1300hrs – 14.30hrs: Lunch at carnivore restaurant
Stop over for lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant where you are spoilt for choice with different meat barbecues.
Bomas (homesteads) displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes. Enjoy local tradition dances and acrobats and clients join as well in celebration local culture!
Visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the house in the movie out of Africa. You can also Visit the kazuri beads enroute.
