These five days four nights safari begins with an overnight stay in Kenya’s bustling Nairobi city and following day departs you to the shimmering plains of Amboseli national park for one night and proceeds to Tsavo west national park which has beautiful scenery of rocky outcrops and volcanic hills, the spectacular mzima springs which attracts rich wildlife including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, zebras and giraffes wandering around the banks among many other features. Full day game viewing wildlife in Masai Mara. You have the option to do a full day game drive or a morning and an afternoon game drive with a break in-between. On the full day game drive, you head out with packed lunch and spend the day spotting wildlife in the park that is home to Africa’s big cats amongst other numerous animal and bird species. Lunch is served at a picnic site deep in the African jungle before proceeding on the afternoon game drive
Masai Mara is renowned for its high animal concentration and abundance. Blank- manned lions, elephants and buffalo can be seen (3 out of the 5) though luck is essential for spotting leopard and rhino, which make the other two. The reserve is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and is home to numerous plains game including wildebeest, common zebra and the Masai giraffe as well as antelopes like Thompson’s gazelle, hartebeest, impala and dik dik among others. You will have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool where hippos are in view and with luck, crocodiles. Return to the lodge / campsite for dinner and overnight.
